The world has always been fascinated with speed, some might even say obsessed with it. The new technology that enters our lives constantly somehow does not free up our schedules. The internet opens up the whole world at our fingertips. The net however can never replace experiencing something in person. When we grow old we will not remember discovering something from the pages of a search engine. We will remember the uniqueness of a moment, perhaps seeing a flower blooming in the last of the spring snow.
My photography serves to record these memories and remind others of the fascinating world that begins with the first step out the front door. I hope to inspire anyone who has lost track of time and has forgotten what lies ahead to be discovered. We must all learn to see life for what it is. The distractions of modern times can be blinding. Take the time to look around, and then look again. You'll be amazed at what you'll find, I know I am.
